No Such Thing...

If we live in a vacuum of time and space then all that is broken can never truly be repaired...

If one claims to forgive but never forgets where is the restitution in that? And what exactly is forgiveness anyway? How does it look? How does it feel? And does anybody own an instruction manual they can lend with a twelve step program on how to commit forgiveness? Or how about a relationship guide entitled Unconditional Love for Dummies that dedicates an entire chapter to forgiving. Cause in actuality how exactly do you forgive something you can't even forget? As the mere idea of whatever it is that caused damage in the first place ruminates and lingers within the crevices of your subconscious mind how do you even begin to forgive the very act that drove you to mere insanity in the first place?

If you shattered a piece of glass and glued it back together the cracks would remain present.

  1. Our experiences shape me and create who I am today and who I will be tomorrow. What would I be if I forgot those experiences that shape my heart and mind? I don't know if I can forgive and not forget. I think people accept what is and move in one direction or another. If you could see your heart, it would look like a shattered glass that has been glued back together because it would contain all the scared, cracks and even breaks of the past.
